Wigs Word of God Today

Universal Utterings for 3-4-2015

But He saves the poor from the sword of their mouth, from the hand of the mighty. Thus the needy have hope, and iniquity closes its mouth. Happy the one whom God reproves! The Almighty’s discipline do not reject. For He wounds, but He binds up; He strikes, but His hands give healing. Job 5:15-18

I will rejoice and be glad in Your mercy, once You have seen my misery, [and] gotten to know the distress of my soul. You will not abandon me into enemy hands, but will set my feet in a free and open space. Psalm 31:8-9

Job 5:14-17, Psalm 31:8-9, Jeremiah 18:18-20 & Matthew 20:17-28

As a child, I used to wonder why people who roamed displaced were living in such a way to seemingly make them appear dirty or mean killers of some type who took advantage of little boys like me or the elderly folk of our town. Some say being homeless is a choice where God surely disciplined me in such a way that dragging myself up from misery obviously reproved seeing Light at the end of very long tunnel. Misery feeds misery but peace satisfies purpose in the mercy we learn to rejoice in once we give our life to God.

Job is reminded time-and-time again to never give up facing his reproving with dignity and not spite. He gave meaning to misery even by the hand of our LORD allowing us a deeper understanding of how to react to reprove in the discipline He sets in place. We all must experience it from time-to-time in the glory you give God in your thoughts, actions and deeds. Salvation in Christ comes in this learning as we grow in deeper devotion to giving God our all. Being homeless lead me to God by discipline I did not reject. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray to live reproved by You LORD in confident peace. Prayers for Kairos Prison #50. Prayers for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz†Peluca.  LORD from Job 5:17-18 I chant; “Happy the one whom God reproves! The Almighty’s discipline do not reject. For He wounds, but He binds up; He strikes, but His hands give healing.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
