Replying Peter The Messiah you be
Gospel of Mark Ch 8 v- 27 thru 30
27 Now Jesus and his disciples set out for the villages of Caesarea Philippi. Along the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” 28 They said in reply, “John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others one of the prophets.” 29 And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter said to him in reply, “You are the Messiah.” 30 Then he warned them not to tell anyone about him.
I really look forward to writing for the Lord every day. My clock seems internal not needing an alarm clock to rise and pray. I consider these two hours of prayer praying indeed coming to know Jesus by the practice we all must concede. We can’t go through life not knowing His Word we must learn to suffer for the Kingdom to find Salvation that we’ve all been told or heard. Who do you say Jesus is? Would you blurt out the answer like Peter and live without fear until someone told you you will die if you acknowledge Jesus as your Savior you find dear?
Will death separate you from the Kingdom? Will you deny our Lord to be given a pass to live on earth in complete bondage unable to worship or call on the Name of Jesus? I pray I have the courage to say aloud, as I do each day, God First for Jesus is my Google mail handle for a reason to proclaim the prayer life I lead that equals the letters on my truck. Everywhere I go people come up behind me to see God First all else will fall into place while reading prayer is our greatest defense against evil. I am guilty of praying aloud and saying without hesitation, “You are the Messiah” my everything Jesus. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. Day 5 We pray for our niece Brittany who is a mother of four and 33 years old who has brain cancer stage three. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
