Wigs Word of God Today
Universal Utterings for 2-28-2014
You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in Your presence, the delights at Your Right Hand forever. Psalm 16:11
Indeed we call blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the LORD, because “the LORD is compassionate and merciful.” James 5:11
James 5:9-12, Psalm 16 & Mark 10:1-12
Letting go and letting God be the reason we live gives us the complete setting of living for God First. He will be your joy by the practice, prayer and proclamation of living for His Truth and not that of the world. James reminds us today to persevere by this purpose the LORD sets all humanity on propelling forward to obtain the righteousness of knowing His Word as your life’s guide. Ultimately, you are the only one who can decide to follow the Way to heaven or to hell by this surrender to His life of faith, hope and love of Christ’s Charity leading the LORD to always be “compassionate and merciful.”
When I was a boy, I’d think of finding happiness in living for myself never thinking God had anything to do with my success or failure in life. Speaking to my oldest son yesterday, I again asked for forgiveness of being so selfish as he grew and I wanted him to know how sorry I was for not placing God First as a young man entering the Navy to simply survive. I wanted him to know that by placing God First, I wanted to be remembered as giving my all to giving faith, hope and love of charity to make up for the sin I lived well into my forties. Indeed, I have persevered by this love of God’s Truth to live blessed as an example of His Purpose. Amen.
We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to persevere by our practice, prayer and proclamation of Your Truth. Greg Bishop has our never-ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Psalm 16:9-10a, I chant, “my heart is glad, my soul rejoices; my body also dwells secure, For You will not abandon my soul.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
I am surrendered in Christ,

Ephesians 6:17-20
Rejoicing soul secure in God to believe– Psalm 16
Unknown Miktam word
Not a soul seemed they understood
Maybe a love honored as they should
David has his own beautiful neighborhood
Good only comes from the LORD in Him
Refuge David took to avoid sin
Delight in Holy Ones to win
The delight of Truth is life to begin
Libations of blood will not pour out
Nothing for gods they seem to pout
No name upon his lips to shout
Destiny secure David’s allotted cup rout
Inheritance pleasant by the voices indeed
Measured out for David to conceive
Counsel from the LORD for his every need
Rejoicing soul secure in God to believe
