Letter to the Romans Sixteen v-One thru Five
1 I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is [also] a minister of the church at Cenchreae, 2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the holy ones, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a benefactor to many and to me as well. 3 Greet Prisca and Aquila my co-workers in Christ Jesus, 4 who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I am grateful but also all the churches of the Gentiles; 5 greet also the church at their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who was the firstfruits in Asia for Christ.
I can only imagine how many people Paul affected face-to-face over his journeys to share the gospel bringing about Redemption to all people. Our last chapter of Romans depicts Paul giving his hello greetings to those who affected his soul the most. You’ll hear quite a few names as we close out chapter 16 described by Paul as devout men and women of God. We all search for those who make a difference when we see God as Christ in the face of people we hear and learn more about Jesus. Some remain friends for an entire lifetime spoken to often scratching their backs when they need their back scratched as well as scratching yours that I would call as the love of Jesus. We pray that you may greet those you love and don’t love in the Name of Jesus sharing love, faith and hope of His mercy in all things by simply calling on the Name of Jesus always. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our children Gabriel, Julian, Alexandra, Jeffrey and Allen and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Prayers for dying. Silence for the prayers of others. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
