Pride inflated become some

1 Corinthians, Chapter 4 18 thru 21

18 Some have become inflated with pride, as if I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord is willing, and I shall ascertain not the talk of these inflated people but their power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 21 Which do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and a gentle spirit?

Pride surely killed more than just a messenger but it killed the Lord himself strung him to a tree nailing his hands and feet all after already whipping him shedding skin and blood in an unimaginable beating. This type of arrogance rings strong across the world today is people who deny our one and only Lord as if their power were stronger than the Creator of the heavens.

In comparison as a part of what you feel when people come and take over what you have maybe describing not just the people’s finances but what it cost in pain from being beaten to the point of submission. Yes pride has killed relationship after relationship where what we seek to be repaired by a humankind we learn can only be repaired in Christ. I don’t believe the rod we’ll work anymore for One must recognize a spirit gentle exuding love, hope and faith of being forgiven and knowingly so living life eternal by this amazing redemption in peace. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Soul of my Father Earl Wiggins. IN Jesus Name. Amen.

Willing Lord Paul summoned
Return soon power exhumed

Talk not people inflated
God’s Kingdom not overrated
Rod prefer creating hatred

Spirit gentle love validated
