Prepared to share
2ND CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 8 12 THRU 15
12 For if the eagerness is there, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have; 13 not that others should have relief while you are burdened, but that as a matter of equality 14 our surplus at the present time should supply their needs, so that their surplus may also supply your needs, that there may be equality.15 As it is written:
“Whoever had much did not have more,
and whoever had little did not have less.”
I really never understood how to give when God asks of us to give when we have enough yet more than it takes to survive. The equality seemed to be something we always pursued to be like the rest but more importantly to be on top and to be the best. Who wanted to be the greatest of everything that wasn’t sharing or caring as we we’re taught to get ahead to look for weakness in others to be shared as profits seem to smother the business of the world will teach us how to recover. We remember this today our weekend of Thanksgiving to seek out those less fortunate than us and make way for salvation’s must. We learned once we’ve become saved in all things we share life as one Redeemed giving as asked grasping love as His faith for hope ordained. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
