Pilate wrote what he wrote
The Gospel of John 19 16 thru 22
16 Then he handed him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, 17 and carrying the cross himself* he went out to what is called the Place of the Skull, in Hebrew, Golgotha. 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, with Jesus in the middle. 19 Pilate also had an inscription written and put on the cross. It read, “Jesus the Nazorean, the King of the Jews.” 20 Now many of the Jews read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. 21 So the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that he said, ‘I am the King of the Jews.’” 22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”
Pilate asked in a statement what he already knew was true. “The King of the Jews.” The Jews wanted something different to overcome the Truth. Much like what we see as existence holding on to youth. But really, how true is Truth? Shame of me and you. Trauma can steal a life and silence will never let you know. It’s never easy to say goodbye when worldly circumstances steal your joy. Seek to open up and overcome by Patience, Persistence & Passion for living and breathing one experience after another. Find your own place in grace knowing mercy will always follow. Be kind and considerate seeking no personal gain. Pardon trying to understand what you will gain in forgiveness; peace. In this peace we will find the Creator beckoning us to hear what God did firsthand for all humanity. There we will find a choice to deny or rely. Always seek Peace as Patience, Persistence & Passion for living; here is the place of Jesus. Amen.
