Pharisees for anyone to squeal
The Gospel of John Eleven 53 thru 54
55 Now the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went up from the country to Jerusalem before Passover to purify themselves. 56 They looked for Jesus and said to one another as they were in the temple area, “What do you think? That he will not come to the feast?” 57 For the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where he was, he should inform them, so that they might arrest him.
We conclude chapter 11 today finding Jesus was a wanting participator of Passover as many asked where he is and if he will come. The truth is we find that Jesus can’t keep away from his home environment of living the will of his father. This will take him to Jerusalem to die for the sins of the world and relinquish deaths grip on humanity as salvation will be finally fulfilled. So what do you think? Is Jesus giving you a reason to forgive and live your life in a manner to help others and share the truth of redemption?
I continue my own healing for I’ve been told by my two children that Jesus is a joke. Apparently, they’ve decided not to share the same salvation as humanity has with themselves and instead wrote a letter to cancel my duties as dad and grandpa. Their struggle comes from my desire to kill myself and rid the shame I have been living with since a traumatic event occurred in the military. This trauma affected my life and I have been too ashamed to discuss it in public until I received this letter from my two children where forgiveness seems forgotten and a hero’s plight for his country is not even considered as a reason to forgive and heal what life brought to the table. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our son Gabriel, Alexandra Wiggins Stern and Allen Thomas Wiggins.
