Persistence given whatsoever need

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 11 FIVE THRU EIGHT

5 And he said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend to whom he goes at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6 for a friend of mine has arrived at my house from a journey and I have nothing to offer him,’ 7 and he says in reply from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been locked and my children and I are already in bed. I cannot get up to give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, if he does not get up to give him the loaves because of their friendship, he will get up to give him whatever he needs because of his persistence.

Jesus tells his disciples to be patient, personable and persistent to the point of knocking excessively one might think as Jesus describes a friends return perseverance won’t deny. I know I know I have always felt this feeling too the one who returned constantly to friends overwhelmingly rude. We call them we write them we include in the thoughts of life around them the friends that never pick up the phone and call you.

We all know them and we have them in our list of contacts. It maybe large tall far and wide list when it comes to some social media some college dropout who wanted to write code created to connect in real-time humanity. The surrender to Christ takes some time to understand how to live the mystery each day escaping from the world to intertwine with a community of love, faith and hope of living redeemed. There will never be a cap a limit to the number of souls you can bring to Christ for free. Once they discover what you’ve been revealed your persistence will be combined with a personable and patient way of being a disciple where refusal comes only in spite as evil’s right. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions; Steve A. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
