People fleshy spiritual not
1 Corinthians, Chapter 3 1-4
1 Brothers, I could not talk to you as spiritual people, but as fleshly people, as infants in Christ. 2 I fed you milk, not solid food, because you were unable to take it. Indeed, you are still not able, even now, 3 for you are still of the flesh. While there is jealousy and rivalry among you, are you not of the flesh, and behaving in an ordinary human way? 4 Whenever someone says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not merely human?
It’s Paul who will always keep us focused on what the spiritual life in Christ does to our maturity in He Who Is Risen. This is not a walk on the coals of the hell so to speak but the real aspects of shard glass that the world tries to inflict upon us and anything we eat spiritually. We cannot see these a lot of times as we chomp and slice away at our worldly desires each and every time when we behave yes as only humans know how to behave.
This is why our Savior as Paul reminds us each and every day is to run and cling to Him asking to be forgiven of doing the things that make us want more and more flesh. It is funny how it goes away more so as we grow older than the one who foolishly frolics without godly care. Many times we feel the release of our own yet when we begin to realize that we have to let go of all things to be in Christ to understand that one man’s milk is another man’s curds who loves the rightness of love but is not been schooled in the records of edible truth. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Soul of my Father Earl Wiggins. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
