Universal Utterings for 11-3-2014

Rich and poor have a common bond: the LORD is the maker of them all. The result of humility and fear of the LORD is riches, honor and life. Proverbs 22:2, 4

Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but [also] everyone for those of others. Philippians 2:3-4

Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you. For you will be repaid at the Resurrection of the righteous. Lk 14:13-14

Proverbs 22:1-3, Philippians 2:1-4 & Luke 14:12-14

Awaking in a fever caused my head to hurt as chills stole my breath making me double over causing a damp slimy feeling to envelope my being. It’s funny how we call out to God in these instances seeking healing wrapped in pain. Why please forgive me for complaining aloud knowing it doesn’t matter what time I get up and pray and write to begin my day. Not a soul cares for the bond common resulting in humility where life’s honor sets us in our place whether we humbly submit or not.

It’s never easy to end selfishness brought to your knees by the Maker of us all sharing the grace of righteousness to the lonely or poor inviting often the lame feeding all the faith, hope and love of Charity’s blessing. When we learn to share the Truth we humbly submit to in correction as much as we give in to His Majesty to heal as much as set straight the inner workings of a human’s complexity. In sickness and in health we give in to understanding of humbly submitting to His Divine Providence over all. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray for humility in sickness and in health. Novena prayers day five for Mike Goudelock (heart) and his wife Debra. We pray for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Proverbs 22:3 I chant; “The astute see an evil and hide, while the naive continue on and pay the penalty.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
