2ND CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 11 1 THRU 5

1 If only you would put up with a little foolishness from me!* Please put up with me. 2 For I am jealous of you with the jealousy of God, since I betrothed you to one husband to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts may be corrupted from a sincere [and pure] commitment to Christ. 4 For if someone comes and preaches another Jesus than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it well enough. 5 For I think that I am not in any way inferior to these “superapostles.”

As a poet, I love to laugh you hear it in my poetic voice you see it in my actions in His grace but most importantly I like to laugh at myself as fear’s compensation that I have from an early distress I have lived through creating more than 30 years of jealousy that I could not get rid of. You hear it today in Paul’s own hand. “If only you would put up with a little foolishness from me!”

What tickles the funny bone of Paul is the jealousy others see for his training and understanding from God came from a first-hand experience knocking him to the ground by the force of light blinding his perception finding life in Christ is right. Coining the phrase, “superapostles,” Paul points out that excepting something other than Christ, we preach is the deception sincerely corrupted by the desire being the most outspoken denying his resurrection for guidance of misdirection. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen.

I am a poet obedient to Christ,
