Paul also a Jesus freak
2ND CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 10 7 THRU 11
7 Look at what confronts you. Whoever is confident of belonging to Christ should consider that as he belongs to Christ, so do we. 8 And even if I should boast a little too much of our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for tearing you down, I shall not be put to shame. 9 May I not seem as one frightening you through letters. 10 For someone will say, “His letters are severe and forceful, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.” 11 Such a person must understand that what we are in word through letters when absent, that we also are in action when present.
There is a frightening aspect to surrender. It comes from the unknown. If we act in Word and deed by the Authority of creation, your confidence should overcome the scary parts of love living in obedience and surrendered to redemption. A lot of people ask how to accomplish this presence of Jesus in your life without worry, wilt or wain. There will be nothing heavy to pull around in fact you will fill light on your feet as the Spirit energizes the wheels of action allowing people to be stimulated to reach out and live the acts of charity. What Paul wrote which frightened some is nothing more than the sticky stuff we step on that we must stop and clean off aligning the Will of God (His grace) with someone in need be at the conversation you hold or the drink you offer to soothe or more importantly just your presence stating salvation as redemption’s silence. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
