Patience takes practice, prayer and preaching.

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Matthew 13:43

Jeremiah 14:17-22, Psalm 79 & Matthew 13:35-43

We are overjoyed when we finally figure something out that Jesus tells His followers just as much as they were overjoyed when Jesus would take the time to explain certain parables to them. The Parable of the Weeds is a good example for the patience we all must endure to live the Will of God, which is fully explained as the wicked receive their due and the righteous in the eyes of God “will shine like the sun” in the shadow of Glory in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Patience is a true virtue but I beg to say we stay focused on practice, prayer and preaching to live in the patience of God’s Will. Is it enough to say we believe? Or is God calling us to do more for His Kingdom than just sit and live? We must find the purpose of God’s gift of life to each of us by seeking Him in our practice, seeking Him in our prayers and living for Him in our proclamation. We mustn’t be afraid of God’s Directives as we pursue to live a life of Christ as True Disciples for the Father’s Glory. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live patiently for Your Truth. We pray for Julian’s move to Rehab LORD. We pray day four of a Novena of prayers for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be healed LORD. We pray for the intentions of Michael Keene who I dedicate my poem to below. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Stole me like a Crook- In honor of Michael Keene

I am with you

Till the end

Not 7 times forgive

But 77 to blend

Sorry I had to say

Suffer for Truth I may

Problems I had to pay

God taught me how to pray

A step in faith I took

God stole me like a crook

Loyal character is my look

Forgiveness and joy by His Good Book
