Letter to the Galatians One v-11 thru 14
11 Now I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin. 12 For I did not receive it from a human being, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ. 13 For you heard of my former way of life in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it, 14 and progressed in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my race, since I was even more a zealot for my ancestral traditions.
Wow, Paul discusses his past and what it meant for others abuse not easy to listen to when your stuck on the retribution course. God reveals Himself in ways we haven’t a clue unless we surrender to living for Christ in everything we do. This may be a shirt or a hat that calls Christ to others as proof. God is real and in everyone’s life through-and-through. You see I wear shirts habitually that depicts my love of Christ as a Jesus freak too often reciting poetry of the Lord to embrace others in Truth. Yesterday I was wearing a Holy Spirit shirt calling on the Spirit in everything I do and sitting at lunch in a diner when someone asked about the shirt as proof. Evidence we all wonder about; Is God and His Son our Life Eternal youth? We want to know God and help situations that we aren’t privileged to know yet encounter by interaction of the Spirit so true.
Today the broadcast may be a little longer than normal as I witness to what happened in the Spirit of His Redemption as glue; God Loves US Eternally. Amen holding us together as a humanity to prove. My shirt reads, “Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. My shirt ends there but the prayer concludes with this-
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of thy faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
Once the lady asked me about my shirt I mentioned a poem I would love to share with them called You Can’t Imagine which depicts how I feel about people when I meet them never knowing really how Jesus has captured a heart or not. Once completed sharing my poem I turn to a young man that was sitting at the table of seven older people who look to be no more than 18 touching his shoulder I made a comment and a prayer that the Lord of all touch his heart and reveal to him His mystery to proclaim Jesus without fear.
I turned and walked away and went back and sat down with my wife and our guest and one of the gentlemen sitting at the table came over to us and politely asked, “is it OK to ask you a question?” I said, “of course” as he intently looked at me and said, “you don’t know that young man that you just touched, do you?” I replied, “no sir I do not.” “Well I wanted you to know that your prayer touched his heart and please pray for him because yesterday he tried to commit suicide.” Tears stream down my face as I said in a whisper “in Christ Jesus I will.” Our Lord amazes us in times when we just surrender to his peace and there must always reside in your soul that you can and will make a difference in the public’s eye by sharing Jesus your Lord allowing his love faith and hope to be ever present in all humanity. Pray for others. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our children Gabriel, Julian, Alexandra, Jeffrey and Allen and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Prayers for dying. Silence for the prayers of others. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
