Letter to the Philippians Four v- 17 thru 20
17 It is not that I am eager for the gift; rather, I am eager for the profit that accrues to your account. 18 I have received full payment and I abound. I am very well supplied because of what I received from you through Epaphroditus, “a fragrant aroma,” an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 My God will fully supply whatever you need, in accord with his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father, glory forever and ever. Amen.
To understand the beauty of watching others profit from your love of sharing Christ Jesus makes anyone just as eager as Paul was originally when he was informing the Philippians that he was eager to see their profit accrue to their account in Christ Jesus by accepting his salvation as the one and only way to reach heaven. When you realize this in your walk, you begin to seek those you know are lost for you find them begging for money or simply holding a sign that says, “I will work for food.” These are the ones that are seeking the salvation of Christ and many times are willing to just listen to your love of sharing his redemption. This is an acceptable sacrifice that is pleasing to God and he will fully supply whatever you need in accord with his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. To our God and father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day. Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
