THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 21 5 THRU 11
12 “Before all this happens, however, they will seize and persecute you, they will hand you over to the synagogues and to prisons, and they will have you led before kings and governors because of my name. 13 It will lead to your giving testimony. 14 Remember, you are not to prepare your defense beforehand, 15 for I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute. 16 You will even be handed over by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 You will be hated by all because of my name, 18 but not a hair on your head will be destroyed. 19 By your perseverance you will secure your lives.”
One time a good friend told me that I could pick up my friends but I would never be able to pick my kin. I didn’t stop to think about this truth and it had a profound effect on me even to this day. I didn’t stop and think about losing family, friends or feen control. I didn’t stop and figure out who my real friends were. A surrender to Christ brings us closer to our creator believing in a mystery that gives humanity redemptions accord.
Remember, this is a pact, purpose and persuasion of living for Jesus by his Salvation he died for on a cross. This is what makes me to say he is part of this Trinity this Mystery that we seem to forget that He walks along with us carrying us through the footsteps of time. You prepare nothing if practice daily crosses your mind. Yesterday I had a recall of this amazing aspect of living for Christ listening to His Spirit nudge me.
I have participated in several inside Christian functions for local prisoners in the Federal prison System. My sign to do what he asks of me came in the form of a letter from a prisoner I have visited and prayed with before. Family and friends have left him seemingly forgotten in the swamps of our sweet flowing Everglades where foe and stranger alike can be embraced in the spirit of love, faith and hope of Truth Charity where grace surprises our being only if we truly believe. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Silence for the prayers of others. In Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood

Friends own relatives
Death some implore
Name mine hated
Destroy not forevermore
Live secured perseverance
Head hairs décor
Nothing to restore
Jesus did galore
