22 Some women from our group, however, have astounded us: they were at the tomb early in the morning 23 and did not find his body; they came back and reported that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who announced that he was alive.24 Then some of those with us went to the tomb and found things just as the women had described, but him they did not see.”25 And he said to them, “Oh, how foolish you are! How slow of heart to believe all that the prophets spoke! 26 Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer these things and enter into his glory?”
I experience and reflect often about the mystery Jesus brought to the world giving each the opportunity to live redeemed. Yes, we speak of this recovery that seems so far away yet enlightens the spirit once you take the tomb and see it empty for yourself. God reminds us over and over again that Jesus had to leave the tomb accomplishing what prophets of old had said for generations that the Messiah would suffer all of these things to enter in his father’s glory. What others can’t see and you understand allows a peace that seems everlasting unafraid to step out and share the good news. You may feel like a fool until the day comes and his reality will speak to those around you and of you. Amen.

Seen reported angel’s vision
Alive they announced tomb not forgot
Jesus speaking still hidden
Angered heart belief slow
You fools soul inquisition
Speaking prophets not know
Messiah described suffering
Necessary glory woe
His story buffering
