Midst person evil purge
1 Corinthians, Chapter 5 Nine thru Thirteen
9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people, 10 not at all referring to the immoral of this world or the greedy and robbers or idolaters; for you would then have to leave the world. 11 But I now write to you not to associate with anyone named a brother, if he is immoral, greedy, an idolater, a slanderer, a drunkard, or a robber, not even to eat with such a person. 12 For why should I be judging outsiders? Is it not your business to judge those within? 13 God will judge those outside. “Purge the evil person from your midst.”
It’s easier said than done to push away a person who seems to be evil in sight as we try to judge people without understanding their plights because they sleep under a bridge at night. I often wonder if other people think that the evil side of their inertia can become lazy in greed yet giving in the face of need the beauty of insight by the teaching of mercy.
The world has captured the attention of the evil we once denied more as a community than a person where it seems to have reversed its weary tide. All of these things can be bought off with the right insurance or the expensive attorney but no one can buy the Salvation Jesus paid for on the cross. People we judge evil are a lot of times seeking to say I’m sorry when the words stay stuck in the airway of lost hope. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Soul of my Father Earl Wiggins. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
