Universal Utterings for 5-15-2015

My days pass by, my plans are at an end, the yearning of my heart. They would change the night into day; where there is darkness they talk of approaching light. Job 17:11-12

Do not be afraid. Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you. Acts 18:9b-10a

Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy. John 16:20

Job 17:10-12, Psalm Acts 18:9-18 & John 16:20-23

Job continues his anguish unhappy with friendly advice as his complete bewilderment continues to plague his body, mind and soul. We must look back on Job One verse Eight when God tells satan, “The LORD said to the satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him, blameless and upright, fearing God and avoiding evil.” Job while in complete confusion avoids evil suffering in being upright yet remains blameless by the ongoing surrender to goodwill over darkness blinded by God’s Light.

Oh, he’s angry yet willing to suffer for the love he gave for His Creator something passed along by God’s messengers of Truth. We see them everywhere yet we are unwilling to accept the call forgiveness gave in Christ to life. As Job brevets his accusations of his friends loyalty, we could do well to remember the prayers of Pope Francis, “Every Christian community must be a welcoming home for those searching for God, for those searching for a brother or sister to listen to them.” Their grief will become joy.” Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray for families everywhere known and unknown. Novena prayers day seven for Nick Diaz and the St Louis Emmaus Brotherhood. Prayers for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz†Peluca.  LORD from Acts 15:8 I chant; “God, who knows the heart, bore witness by granting them the Holy Spirit just as He did us.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
