Magdala Mary tomb removed stone surprise

1 On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb.  2 So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they put him.” 3 So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb. 4 They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and arrived at the tomb first; 5 he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in. 6 When Simon Peter arrived after him, he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there, 7 and the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place. 8 Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed. 9 For they did not yet understand the scripture that he had to rise from the dead. 10 Then the disciples returned home. John 20:1-10

Keep your practice in the realm of understanding why Jesus had to rise from the dead. Without him rising how could he allow humanity to understand that he had died on the cross for their sins? Seems easy to many of us who continually take in the Word of God each and every day but sometimes we tend to allow world to run faster just like the disciple who outpaced Peter to the tomb. Jesus had not disappeared but encountered the resurrection becoming one with God of all things.

Though Jesus came in the form of a man his divinity was known from the foundation of the world and not a soul could take that away from Him being realized only in dying and rising again. Whether we want to understand this in our own lives or not we have to die to sin and Rise with him to understand what true forgiveness truly means. It means freedom allowing the love, faith and hope of true charity to be the reason your life is driven by the divine. Rise with him and remain in his peace loving others while sharing why we live in peace. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Novena Day two for John Cruz. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
