Love: everyone respect
1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 16 13 THRU 18
13 Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. 14 Your every act should be done with love. 15 I urge you, brothers—you know that the household of Stephanas is the firstfruits of Achaia and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the holy ones—16 be subordinate to such people and to everyone who works and toils with them. 17 I rejoice in the arrival of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because they made up for your absence, 18 for they refreshed my spirit as well as yours. So give recognition to such people.
Faith firmly standing on your guard is Jesus resonating in you. Paul was telling the Corinthian’s to be courageous making sure that everything you do is in the name of Jesus; meaning live in love. Every act we accomplish to sustain life includes the way you treat others reminding yourself mankind is treated like yourself. I can only imagine what it must’ve been like to experience Paul calling your family the example humanity should take to become the first fruits of love for redemption sharing salvation.
Devoting yourself to the service of one holy is making yourself available to them not the preachers who tell you to repent from an altar. No. Christ wants each and every one of us to toil in the work of everyone especially the ones who seemingly have nothing yet call out in need for recognition of seeking the least to sustain their bodies lost aching for God. This is gods request; through his son while unworthy yet forgiving by One. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
