Love does no evil to the neighbor; hence, love is the fulfillment of the Law. Romans 13:10

Whoever does not carry his own Cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:27

Romans 13:8-10, Psalm 52 & Luke 14:25-33

The love of money over neighbor seems to be the norm forcing the Law into obscurity. You’d think the world would see love as more important than evil but the lure of instant gratification overwhelms the soul causing man to do things in the name of pleasure forgetting the Cross of Salvation. When we love our neighbor as our self, we judge not the appearance as if looking into a mirror for in the mirror we see the perfection God created that embraces self of God’s own image causing love we can neither deny or pay for.

Think for a moment, what would have happened if mirrors were never created and the reflection of mankind shimmered not off a body of water or the heated sand turned into glass but only the thought of God’s love radiating forward positioning love that protrudes from our being and not dragged behind us like a dog on a leash. Here, God asks us to carry our own Cross as the love He intended for humanity placing evil underfoot fulfilling the Law of faith, hope and love of charity. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to love all as neighbors fulfilling the Law by the Cross we carry and embrace. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our prayers often each day. LORD from Psalm 52:5-9a, I chant, “You love evil more than good, lying rather than saying what is right. You love all the words that create confusion, you deceitful tongue. God too will strike you down forever, He will lay hold of you and pluck you from your (home), uproot you from the land of the living. The righteous will see and they will fear; but they will laugh at him: “Behold the man! He did not take God as his refuge, but he trusted in the abundance of his wealth.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

Law Fulfilled Love even a Fool– Romans 13:8-10

God asks us not to owe
Only love to sow
Another loved to show
The Law fulfilled to know

Loving another fulfills
The Law throughout all the hills
Of the world and its thrills
No Commandment shall you kill

Commandments strong
Adultery wrong
Not you shall kill or long
To covet or steal a bong

No matter the Rule
Don’t be a stool
Keep the summed up saying cool
Yourself love as your neighbor true
