Lashes forty Jews hand times five

2ND CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 11 24 THRU 29

24 Five times at the hands of the Jews I received forty lashes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I passed a night and a day on the deep; 26 on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my own race, dangers from Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers at sea, dangers among false brothers; 27 in toil and hardship, through many sleepless nights, through hunger and thirst, through frequent fastings, through cold and exposure. 28 And apart from these things, there is the daily pressure upon me of my anxiety for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is led to sin, and I am not indignant?

One can surely see the hand of God in everything Paul was asked to do. His surrender came by divine revelation overcoming countless dangers on the land and in the sea. Our world today is struggling with wanting to see the demise of others or the excessive actions of craziness to accomplish spite for law and order stemming from excessiveness given too our generation too early too soon spoiled beyond recognition. We have kept our children away from these type of danger not willing to trust the Lord with everything our children could be.

We discover with practice as I talk about in our daily study in the word of God we must crawl before we walk and we must walk before we learn to talk. Amen. We will never perfect what we have as a chance to present better the next time. Excess perfection, No. No matter what the situation is our children are in need of these dangers trusting God to see them through building self-esteem that teaches them more than pouring a bowl of cereal but enlightening them to cook a five-course meal foregoing perfection for exploration and share it with those less fortunate. We’ve become too busy trying to give everything to our kids instead of letting them learn by journeys frequent thirst and hunger nights sleepless hardship that will create men and women of love, faith and hope of his charity; Redemption. I dare to say its too late for Jesus is perfection. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
