John was his name
Gospel of Mark Ch 6 v- 14 thru 16
14 King Herod heard about it, for (Jesus) fame had become widespread, and people were saying, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead; that is why mighty powers are at work in him.” 15 Others were saying, “He is Elijah”; still others, “He is a prophet like any of the prophets.” 16 But when Herod learned of it, he said, “It is John whom I beheaded. He has been raised up.”
It was John Herod would say as we all call out to John: “Hey John, God bless you!” Each and every day. Maybe a friend or two you know has his name. The Baptist calling out in the wilderness a Savior he would sing is coming I’m unworthy to untie His sandals or the tunic Jesus considered His bling. The king didn’t know what to think except John has come back to haunt him resurrected as nuisance of the king. Or maybe it was Elijah roaring back to earth in a chariot of fire coming to consume Herod’s misdeeds by exacting judgment every person would seem to cling. Yet, we know who it was that they were afraid to see and believe except to conquer His miracles that none of them could conceive for it would alter their existence what more reason do they need to not fully agree as we grasp His miracles as a way of life sharing Heaven on earth we learn to not even think twice. We discover a trust and deliver His Redemption as might. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos the especially a prayer men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Fame of Jesus heard by Herod the king
Widespread miracle whispers people would sing
Dead raised as the Baptist John was his name
Why powers mighty Him working others would exclaim
Saying others Elijah is He
Others still prophet like other prophets you can see
Learning Herod declaring what he can’t be
Raised has he after I beheaded John don’t you agree
