John baptized collectors of tax

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 3 12 THRU 20

12 Even tax collectors came to be baptized and they said to him, “Teacher, what should we do?” 13 He answered them, “Stop collecting more than what is prescribed.” 14 Soldiers also asked him, “And what is it that we should do?” He told them, “Do not practice extortion, do not falsely accuse anyone, and be satisfied with your wages.” 15 Now the people were filled with expectation, and all were asking in their hearts whether John might be the Messiah. 16 John answered them all, saying, “I am baptizing you with water, but one mightier than I is coming. I am not worthy to loosen the thongs of his sandals. He will baptize you with the holy Spirit and fire. 17 His winnowing fan is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” 18 Exhorting them in many other ways, he preached good news to the people. 19 Now Herod the tetrarch, who had been censured by him because of Herodias, his brother’s wife, and because of all the evil deeds Herod had committed, 20 added still another to these by [also] putting John in prison.

Sometimes we have this ability to read others heart like John the Baptist did of all of those filled with such a expectation hoping that he was the Messiah. Normally, people think we see the hearts through their eyes either with crying or redness from the effects of tears yet we really see the soul’s window in the deepness of every eye brandishing color mesmerizing the mind shivering the body in breath’s shortness our inertia can’t control.

It is the feeling of knowing God trusting me he sent his son to be recognized by his cousin by the beauty of gods mystical language the world over can receive by practice, prayer and proclamation of living Redeemed. Salvation. Mystery we try and understand. Help us God to see Jesus in the heart of others expectations whether good, bad or indifferent let us witness humility and grace of You Lord. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
