The Gospel of John Five 10 thru 16

10 So the Jews said to the man who
was cured, “It is the sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”
11 He answered them, “The man who made me well told me, ‘Take up your mat and
walk.’” 12 They asked him, “Who is the man who told you, ‘Take it up and
walk’?” 13 The man who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had
slipped away, since there was a crowd there. 14 After this Jesus found him in
the temple area and said to him, “Look, you are well; do not sin any more, so
that nothing worse may happen to you.” 15 The man went and told the Jews that
Jesus was the one who had made him well. 16 Therefore, the Jews began to
persecute Jesus because he did this on a sabbath.

It’s difficult to except the feeling of having others tell
you that you’re wrong for doing something that you love so much. Each
generation seems to have a different brand of defiance that normally slips away
as we grow older as our God beckons us to prepare his way. I could hear the man
grumbling as he carried his mat against the Jews in such a joyous manner to
live in faith of something that means more than the casual passing of Christ
spirit but a full out embrace of living redeemed.

Our eyewitness testimony cannot be diminished over time, it
must be celebrated lived in accordance with love, faith and hope of living
forever. The sound of death frightens us all specially when body ailments seem
to push you to the limits of physical, mental and spiritual health yet I remind
us all to call out to God, His Son and His Spirit by asking for help in
whatever fashion you may be in need of surely life itself is worth seeking what
we all find with or without Him. I write today of my own experience finding
fright by the inability to overcome anxiousness.

The feeling is such that nothing you can do may separate you
from God and at that very moment I sought Him calling out alone in the Light of
a room in the middle of the night. Something called me to check my phone. A
call had come for some spiritual help for an old dear friend. Lifelong many
would say and we connected leaning on one another in the middle of the night
after years of knowing each other’s heart from days of old filled with grace of
God’s goodness. Our passing included prayer slight yet firm still holding to
life’s concern’s. My anxiousness answered and a prayer of peace came to rest as
our souls exhaled love at its best. Pray for your friends hopefully that includes
me. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord.
I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Prayers for our son
Gabriel and Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the
prayers of others. CORO-19 prayers globally. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC &

Healed walking I can’t deny
