Jesus confession ours fast hold He
Letter to the Hebrews Four v- 14 thru 16
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin. 16 So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.
Do you believe the Christ came from Heaven? Did He roam the abyss from the beginning where all things were Created life set in place beginning and the end as one would hear as the Alpha and Omega? This is our confession that Jesus is the Christ in the flesh who came upon humanity to establish forgiveness of sins so vast we can’t begin to conceive how far this forgiveness goes. Can you think of a story that tells of His forgiveness? One that hits home for each of us. One thing for sure I’m not immune to this type of confusion where others can’t forgive hurting their soul to the point of including others that then find this unforgiveness so. I for one know how to continue my love by forgiving others as history does entail knowing Jesus does sympathize with the aggravation He foretold all who believe would learn to be steadfast and never allow your love to fail. The beginning to end confession He is the Son of God our Redeemer. Amen.
Daily Catechist Paragraph 1544 “Everything that the priesthood of the Old Covenant prefigured finds its fulfillment in Christ Jesus, the “one mediator between God and men.”15 The Christian tradition considers Melchizedek, “priest of God Most High,” as a prefiguration of the priesthood of Christ, the unique “high priest after the order of Melchizedek”;16 “holy, blameless, unstained,”17 “by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are sanctified,”18 that is, by the unique sacrifice of the cross.”
Daily Catechist Paragraph 1545 “The redemptive sacrifice of Christ is unique, accomplished once for all; yet it is made present in the Eucharistic sacrifice of the Church. The same is true of the one priesthood of Christ; it is made present through the ministerial priesthood without diminishing the uniqueness of Christ’s priesthood: “Only Christ is the true priest, the others being only his ministers.”19 Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day. Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
