Jesus called out, ‘Haven’t you caught anything, friends?’ And when they answered, ‘No,’ He said, ‘Throw the net out to starboard and you’ll find something.’ So they threw the net out and could not haul it in because of the quantity of fish. John 21:5-6

This is the Stone, which you, the builders, rejected but which has become the Cornerstone. Only in Him is there Salvation; for of all the names in the world given to men, this is the only one by which we can be saved. Acts 4:11-12

Jesus called out, ‘Haven’t you caught anything, friends?’ And when they answered, ‘No,’ He said, ‘Throw the net out to starboard and you’ll find something.’ So they threw the net out and could not haul it in because of the quantity of fish. John 21:5-6

Acts 4:1-12, Psalm 118 & John 21:1-14

Peter comes to know the Power of the Holy Spirit and what it can do for your confidence, ability and belief utilizing his new found desires to address anyone and everyone including the Pharisees and Scribes that they are the ones who killed the person in which they do everything in the healing of the crippled. “Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, addressed them, ‘Rulers of the people, and elders! If you are questioning us today about an act of kindness to a cripple and asking us how he was healed, you must know, all of you, and the whole people of Israel, that it is by the Name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you Crucified, and God raised from the dead, by this Name and by no other that this man stands before you cured.” Acts 4:8-10

Many of us have felt the Power of the Holy Spirit when we address others about our surrender to a life of Christ. The joy of feeling the Spirit of God direct your thoughts, actions and deeds is a feeling that is overwhelmingly amazing driving you to do more and more for the LORD in every way just to share the Salvation of His Son Christ Jesus. Use the Spirit’s enlightenment to give you courage, confidence and ability to talk to strangers in a restaurant or to a group of homeless people gathered in a park.

This guidance given to you by the Holy Spirit is just as much a protector as He is the poise you will garnish in surrendering your life to Christ’s Way of loving humanity. It’s the same feeling you’ll get when you seek to live in faith, charity and love that will find you the “big” fishes in the sea of sin that need Jesus the most. It’s when you follow your own desires that the fish and accomplishments of your life will feel small in comparison to the happiness, desire and conviction you’ll experience when your nets are used for the love of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Heavenly King, we pray to never reject the Cornerstone of Humanity and to always lift up Your Son in the Spirit you have given us to relish in confidence, ability and belief . We praise You and thank You for Your Spirit of Truth. We pray today Your Spirit leads me in everything I speak. We pray for my children. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Fishing with Jesus is Redemption’s Friend- John 21:1-14

The Disciples had returned to their love of fishing

When Jesus presented Himself a third time at the sea

The life long journey before Christ was shaky

Now the world would be the catch to agree

So at least seven of the men got in a boat

Staying all night without a single fish feat

When morning arrived a man stood by the shore yelling

Caught any fish friends to bring ashore and eat?

Nothing came their reply hurried and weak

Cast your nets to the right and find some fish to greet

So they cast it over and tried to haul in the piece

Of a net so full of fish standing hem up in their seats

The Jesus said to Peter It is I the LORD to meet

Peter couldn’t hold his desire as He jumped in the water to seek

The Risen LORD was on the shore with a fire

Cooking and preparing some fish to eat

Peter then went back to help drag the net ashore

Not breaking one line of net to worry

One hundred fifty three big fish they caught

Fish were the biggest to scurry as the Savior began to talk

Come have some breakfast with Me

His time was limited to Ascend

Eating bread and fish as need

Being the third time He reveled Himself to them

Fishing with Jesus is Redemption’s Friend
