A man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit. After prayer they laid their hands on them. Acts 6:5b/6b

It was getting dark by now and Jesus had still not rejoined them. When they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming towards the boat, they were afraid, but He said, ‘It’s Me. Don’t be afraid.’ John 6:17b/20b

Why do we find so much beauty and peace in the sound of rain and thunder? It makes my heart rejoice in His Spirit knowing the consequences of the damp pastels in puddles forming throughout the world; life. A four-letter word life (“it means forever”) of celebration to rejoice in God’s glory. A beautiful Spirit of Truth descends on your life and people of faith are your companions who hold hands, pray and celebrate God’s love. I have personally witnessed the laying of hands on someone for various reasons of sickness or God’s guidance and in today’s world. There are so many different ways of “laying your hands” on someone in thoughts and in prayers and in deeds.

It’s when we find His Spirit lifting our voices and our strength to accomplish everything for Him do we know His Spirit is in us every step of the Way. Yesterday I felt this “laying of hands” through action and love by some of you who study the Bible with me everyday. Simply put, I was tearfully touched and thankful God is the center of our lives. I know sometimes in our lives we find ourselves wanting to rid our fears of darkness where we think Jesus is not present in some naive way.

The Disciples felt that fear as they began to enter darkness without Jesus holding on to faith as they see Him coming to them on the water across the sea. Fear melts to Rejoicement as His words enter their ears, “It’s Me. Don’t be afraid.” I must admit the fear of His strength just shot through my chest from Lighting hitting next to my house. A fear we sometimes feel when we think God isn’t with us in everything we do. We separate ourselves from God and find a misery in the darkness of life but Jesus is telling you He is there, do not be afraid. Focus on Jesus to overcome the darkness and celebrate in the puddles creating the pastels of God’s Divine Plan for you. Amen.

My LORD and My God, we pray to live in Your Light of Truth guided by puddles of nourishment. I say a prayer of thanksgiving for the power staying on and the rain coming down so hard. We pray for my Vigil Group praying for the unborn at the abortion clinic this morning from 7-9 AM. We LORD will rejoice in Your Puddles for the children dying in our midst. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. We pray for my children. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Life without Jesus you cannot hide- John 6:16-21

Crossing the sea in fright

Jesus was nowhere in sight

Frightful of the dark night

The wind and sea a fight

The Disciples were stunned to see

Jesus walking on the water so free

Four miles out in rough ugly seas

Jesus said don’t be afraid it is Me

Miracles fly by their sides

As land was immediate they confide

The shore was upon in a flash tide

Life without Jesus you cannot hide
