Wig’s Word of God Today 1-5-2013
Deed and Truth serves as the union we have with God’s Will.
If someone who has worldly means sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in him? Children, let us love not in word or speech but in Deed and Truth. First John 3:17-18
First John 3:11-21, Psalm 100 & John 1:43-51
We search for reasons, rights and ramifications of our passion in life to become “worldly” seeking God knows what of ungodly things ruining the spiritual union we have with God to live in godly ways. Look around you: Do you see what I mean? Are you connected to God in daily or even moment-by-moment tasks? Truly, I believe to live in Deed and Truth we must occupy our passions with Godly decisions sharing His Redemption by the sweat of our brow or the silence of our life’s Honesty. The love of Deed combined with the love of Truth serves as the union we have with God’s Will.
Oh sure, God will and does love you sitting on that couch or computer table doing God knows what. A line in a song of Leeland comes to mind: “What are you doing when no one is watching?” The love of God remains in us by what we do for God not what we are for God. He’ll love you either way but God calls us from our shells to be an active witness for His Truth. His Truth means way more than just a good read, it is a Way of life studied and revered accomplishing a bond God seeks with every child, woman and man living compassion established by Christ to know.
I encourage here in brevity a love of God to act upon with passion to “love not in word or speech but in Deed and Truth.” I once heard a pastor say we can equal our sins by the charity we provide. Somewhere here in charity God sends His Spirit of Truth to find a love Unequaled and Divine creating our own passion to provide God’s strength in any and all charity one may be called to accomplish. I created a ministry called “Trunk of Comfort” finding a love of Deed and Truth to share with the homeless communities of South Florida. I pray one day you can see the eyes of those less fortunate when they open their arms to take a new pair of shoes or pair of clean pants from you. You too will know you have loved “not in word or speech but in Deed and Truth.” Amen.
We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray day 11 of our 12 Days of Christmas giving thanks God commands us to live in Deed and Truth. Praying for Greg Bishop’s tumor to shrink in his liver. Praying for Angel Diaz’s mom and dad. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Carolina prayers for March. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
Yours in Christ,

Romans 8:28
For El Shaddai blesses his gaze– Genesis 48-50
I start with a smirk
My faith has been hurt
Daily has been late
I push on in Genesis forty-eight
Jacob turned Israel meets Joseph’s boys
Joseph brings them to him as close as a nose
Jacob adopts them blessing them as his own
While giving the younger the go ahead throne
Joseph contests for the oldest indeed
Jacob said he will be greater indeed
Joseph backs down as his child indeed
Ephraim was blessed the leader indeed
Jacob draws his children near
He gives them his testament so dear
Each were praised or defaced
Each one accepting their father’s embrace
He gave Joseph the highest praise
As a man of God to eternally graze
For El Shaddai blesses his gaze
The Tribes of Israel highest paid
Jacob continued giving his final plans
My breath will soon be no more where I stand
Bury me with my kin in the cave of Ephron
Finishing his words he drew his last breath fan
Concluding Genesis with one more than forty nine
Sadness felt as even Joseph also finds
He forgave his brothers one last time
He died at one hundred ten smiling in kind
Exodus begins the very next lines
The entire Bible continues in rhymes
Each book set since the beginning of time
My love of God shared Redemption to find
