Idols agreement with God
2ND CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 6 16 THRU 19
16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said:
“I will live with them and move among them, and I will be their God and they shall be my people. 17 Therefore, come forth from them and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch nothing unclean; then I will receive you 18 and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”
God ask us to take our stand in him not to be separate from humanity as much as be given Grace by the beauty a living redeemed and confessed Jesus as your Savior. God will receive you as his daughters and sons reminding us to Touch nothing unclean seeking out those who are lost and languished to become free and fortunate as they witness Christ in you. No matter what people give as a reason to deny Jesus I always remind them that the confession is asked to be often allowing you forgiveness for our disrespect.
I was so disrespectful for so long that I decided to take heart of what my god asks of me in not denying him and I do this each and every day even without saying a word as Jesus did so many times as well. Idols can’t speak to those on their knees unless joy and honor is found in a tv screen no matter the size we deem what we seem. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
