I promise to celebrate Christ and not choose chaos.

Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with your whole heart, and with your whole being, and with your whole strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

He (Jesus) is always able to save those who approach God through Him, since He lives forever to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25

Jesus saw that [he] answered with understanding, He said to Him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” Mark 12:34

The LORD our God is LORD alone! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other Commandment greater than these. Mark 12:29e-31

Deuteronomy 6:2-6, Psalm 18, Hebrews 7:23-28 & Mark 12:28-34

What is it to love as God describes across the pages of His Truth? Where is it along the path of life do we find the answers to these puzzling questions? If Jesus were to ask you what the greatest commandment is, would you describe loving your neighbor as much as yourself? In doing this, we got over the need for crisis living for His Credentials. I think I’ve put myself through so much crisis early in life; I just want to love God with all my heart, soul and being.

For some reason I seem to recall the celebration of a 50th birthday was a crisis; “a mid-life crisis.” The time in your life you run off and buy a convertible, a Harley or seek thrill and excess, right? I think it’s hard to live in crisis when you have the love of God firmly rooted in every aspect of your life. People can laugh or balk at you only because they are jealous of the freedom you endure in accepting Christ as your LORD and Savior.

So today I awake early on Daylight Savings to share His love having lived one-half century seeking to truly live one half century for Him. I have 30 years to go where day-by-day I promise to celebrate Christ and not choose chaos. I promise to live in His Truth abiding by His Decrees loving each of you as I love myself, God and charity. Now at 50 I’ve chosen dialogue instead of debate. I’ve chosen love over hate. I pray God allows us all to relate. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to love you LORD as our Truth. Day seven of a novena of prayers for Carmen of the Capri. I thank my mom for giving me life today 50 years ago just down the street in South Miami Hospital. We pray for a true miracle win for my election. We pray for all the people I have prayed with this last week taking the time to vote and live a Faithful Citizenship of the USA. God thank YOU for allowing me to live 50 years. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

Where does time seem to go? – Fifty years of Life +4 (solve the mystery?)

Fifty years of life where does time seem to go?

We trudge through life seeking to know

The purpose to love and eternally show

Our love of God where winds of forever blow

I for one have never figured it out

Where does time seem to go I finally began to shout?

I live each day soaking up His Truth to be stout

Not living each day in crisis to shamefully pout

About life in love where time is the blame

Asking God why He has forsaken your truly precious name

Where does time seem to go forgetting when He came

Ignoring the Truth seemed to be your obvious disastrous shame

Now He asks will you come and rest with Me?

Placing your burdens at the foot of His Tree

The Cross of Salvation for you and for me

Where does time seem to go when Salvation is for free
