05-19-2026 Acts 20 V1727 The Entire Plan Of God
The Acts of the Apostles Chapter 20 Verse 17 thru 27
17 From Miletus he had the presbyters of the church at Ephesus summoned. 18 When they came to him, he addressed them, “You know how I lived among you the whole time from the day I first came to the province of Asia. 19 I served the Lord with all humility and with the tears and trials that came to me because of the plots of the Jews, 20 and I did not at all shrink from telling you what was for your benefit, or from teaching you in public or in your homes. 21 I earnestly bore witness for both Jews and Greeks to repentance before God and to faith in our Lord Jesus. 22 But now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem. What will happen to me there I do not know, 23 except that in one city after another the holy Spirit has been warning me that imprisonment and hardships await me. 24 Yet I consider life of no importance to me, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear witness to the gospel of God’s grace. 25 “But now I know that none of you to whom I preached the kingdom during my travels will ever see my face again. 26 And so I solemnly declare to you this day that I am not responsible for the blood of any of you, 27 for I did not shrink from proclaiming to you the entire plan of God.”
In Acts 20:17-27, the Apostle Paul addresses the elders of the Ephesian church, emphasizing the urgency of his mission and the commitment to proclaiming the full counsel of God. Paul’s heartfelt message serves as a reminder of the profound responsibility placed upon those who lead and teach within the body of Christ.
He recounts his journey of faith, emphasizing his humility, trials, and relentless dedication to sharing the Gospel. His declaration that he has not hesitated to proclaim anything that would be helpful highlights the necessity of embracing the entirety of God’s message.
Salvation, when confessed, invites the Holy Spirit to be active within our lives. This divine guidance empowers believers to boldly share the Gospel and the transformative truths that come with it. Recognizing our salvation not only affirms our relationship with God but also commissions us to be witnesses of His love and grace to the world around us. Like Paul, we are called to be stewards of the message of salvation, to teach and live out the fullness of God’s plan.
Paul’s reminder to the Ephesian elders includes a warning about the challenges ahead—false teachings and adversaries who would distort the truth. This underscores the importance of relying on the Holy Spirit for discernment and strength as we navigate the complexities of faith. Our confession of salvation is not merely a personal affirmation; it is a call to action. We are to engage with others, proclaiming the good news while demonstrating the character of Christ in our lives.
In essence, as we confess our salvation, let us remain open to the Holy Spirit’s leading, faithfully proclaiming the entirety of God’s message and fulfilling our role in His divine plan. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
05-19-2026 Acts 20 V1727
**The Entire Plan Of God**
In the heart of Ephesus, Paul did arise,
Calling the elders, each man divinely wise,
Tears in the night, a journey ahead,
He spoke of the trials, the path that he would tread.
“Though bound by the Spirit, I go where I must,
In bonds and in hardship, I place all my trust,
For the whispers of danger, I heed not in fright,
For the message of grace is my guiding light.”
With passion he taught, with fervor he swayed,
The truth of salvation, he boldly portrayed.
From house to house, he proclaimed day and night,
The blood of the Lamb, our beacon, our light.
He warned of the wolves, the dangers that roam,
A shepherd’s heart beats for the flock and the home.
“Keep watch over souls, lead with love and with care,
For the hope of the Gospel, let none be laid bare.”
As he knelt and prayed, with voices entwined,
A bond forged in faith, forever aligned.
“Though I may be leaving, my heart remains true,
I’m innocent of blood; I’ve delivered to you.”
Through trials and shadows, my journey extends,
But the Gospel continues and love never ends.
In Ephesus’s embrace, I spread seeds of grace,
And in every heart, His truth finds a place.
So let us run bright, with the torch of His grace,
Even when shadows attempt to erase.
For Paul’s faithful call, may it echo through time,
In the spirit of love, we’ll continue to climb. Amen.
