The Acts of the Apostles Chapter 4 Verse 32 thru 37

32 The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. 33 With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all. 34 There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale, 35 and put them at the feet of the apostles, and they were distributed to each according to need. 36 Thus Joseph, also named by the apostles Barnabas (which is translated “son of encouragement”), a Levite, a Cypriot by birth, 37 sold a piece of property that he owned, then brought the money and put it at the feet of the apostles.

Acts 4:32-37 provides a profound glimpse into the early Christian community’s unity and generosity, highlighting the remarkable transformations that occur when believers come together in faith. In this passage, we witness a remarkable atmosphere among the disciples: “All the believers were one in heart and mind,” demonstrating the power of collective belief and the strength found in unity under the banner of Christ. Their shared commitment to the truth of the resurrection ignited a spirit of selflessness and support; no one claimed any possession as their own, and they generously shared everything they had.

The text underscores that “great grace was upon them all,” serving as a reminder that when we align our hearts and minds with Christ’s purpose, we attract divine favor. This favor isn’t merely about personal blessings; it manifests in ways that are profoundly visible, often resulting in miracles within our communities as we bear witness to the resurrection of our Savior. Through unwavering belief in Jesus, the barriers of isolation and individualism dissolve, opening pathways for God’s miraculous works to unfold.

As we reflect on this passage, let us remember that our faith can indeed yield transformative results. When we unite in one heart and mind, we not only strengthen our own belief but also empower others to experience the life-giving presence of Christ. We are called to be conduits of His grace, seeing needs and fulfilling them, thereby creating an environment ripe for miracles to occur.

So, dear friends, as you hold fast to your belief in Christ and lean into the community of faith, expect great favor to rest upon your souls. Witness the extraordinary unfold in your lives as you bear witness to the resurrection, uplifting one another in love. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

04-14-2026 Acts 4 v3237

**Great Favor Was Accorded To Them All**

In the heart of the early, where faith brightly shone,

A community gathered, together, not alone.

With spirits united, they cherished His grace,

In the bond of their love, each found sacred space.

No one claimed possessions; they shared all with cheer,

For from the well of their hearts, they cast out all fear.

The apostles spoke boldly, with spirit so bright,

Proclaiming the resurrection, their message of light.

They saw the abundance, in each other’s eyes,

As they lifted each other, to soar toward the skies.

The gifts of the faithful flowed freely and clear,

And joy echoed softly, a melody so dear.

From the wealth of their kindness, they shared from their soul,

A heart-warming story, where compassion made whole.

Barnabas, the encourager, sold land for the need,

His actions ignited a fire, a fruitful eternal seed.

So let us remember that love knows no bounds,

In the spirit of sharing, true treasure abounds.

For in every act of kindness, in giving, we find,

The beauty of unity, a love unconfined. Amen.
