The 1st Letter of John Chapter 2 Verse 18 thru 23

18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. Thus we know this is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not really of our number; if they had been, they would have remained with us. Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number. 20 But you have the anointing that comes from the holy one, and you all have knowledge. 21 I write to you not because you do not know the truth but because you do, and because every lie is alien to the truth. 22 Who is the liar? Whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Whoever denies the Father and the Son, this is the antichrist. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.

In 1 John 2:18-23, the Apostle John presents a profound understanding of the relationship between confession, faith, and the assurance of God’s love. These verses remind us that a simple yet heartfelt confession of faith can unlock the depths of God’s love and transform our lives. When we place our complete trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are not merely reciting words; we are engaging in a life-altering act of surrender.

John emphasizes that acknowledging our brokenness and sinfulness is the first step towards experiencing God’s grace. It is through this confession that we receive forgiveness, illuminating the truth that the Father desires a relationship with us, despite our shortcomings. The beauty of God’s love is evident in His readiness to embrace us, offering healing and redemption. This invitation is open to everyone, serving as a reminder that no one is beyond the reach of His grace.

Moreover, John’s message reassures us that our confession aligns our spirits with God’s will. It transforms our hearts, prompting us to live in a manner that reflects His love and leads us toward deeper spiritual growth. As we surrender our lives to Christ, we find peace and purpose, knowing that we are enveloped in the Father’s love.

In this passage, we are encouraged not to complicate our faith with doubt or fear. Instead, let us embrace the simplicity of trusting in Christ, recognizing that there is power in our acknowledgment of Him as Savior. Therefore, may we daily commit to this act of surrender, confident that in doing so, we affirm the reality of God’s love in our lives. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Who Is The Liar**

In the shadow of the last days’ light,

Dear children, hear the truth, hold tight.

For antichrists come, as prophets declare,

Deceivers in disguise, lurking everywhere.

They once were with us, in our midst they stood,

Their hearts turned cold wearing a dark covered hood.

The spirit of error, the world they pursue,

In the light of His love, they couldn’t stay true.

Know the truth that you have, it abides in your heart,

The Anointed One guides, sets us apart.

No lie can stand when His light shines bright,

Filling our souls with wisdom and might.

Deny the Son, and the Father you miss,

But confess Him in truth—oh, eternal bliss!

For in Him is the promise, salvation’s embrace,

A refuge for all, a love filled with grace.

So cling to His word, let it forever remain,

In the depth of your spirit, where joy conquers pain.

For this is the hope, the message we share,

In Him we find life, in His presence to care. Amen.
