I lie down and I fall asleep, [and] I will wake up, for the LORD sustains me. Salvation is from the LORD! May Your blessing be upon Your people!  Psalm 3:6, 9

First Kings 12:26-32; 13:33-34, Psalm 3 & Mark 8:1-10

When we lie down and fall asleep or rise and wake up, do we thank our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ for the Salvation He gives to all? The distractions of evil dressed up in Sunday Best places the emphasis away from what Truth really means for you and for me. The focus has been shadowed by less clothes and more personal display of affection for pleasures rallying around the wrong cause. Are we looking for sin or are we looking for Salvation? The Center of the world revolves around Three asking us to be all we can to accomplish true charity.

The Truth wants man to be ever grateful giving thanks continually by the faith we place to practice, practice and practice some more. God First can’t be a cliché we speak about on Sunday mornings. Placing God First is an obedient life to Truth embracing the faith we receive from the grace of practice- simply reading your Bible every day and speaking to the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost aloud active in Truth relishing righteousness by the love our hearts beat for. Try to lie down in Christ and awake in Christ aloud or in your soul to practice, pray and proclaim faith, hope and love of charity. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to lie down in You LORD and awake in You LORD. Happy 27th birthday to my oldest son Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for the soul of Deacon Green’s wife Doris. Constant prayers for TD. Greg Bishop has our never-ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Psalm 3:5, I chant, “With my own voice I will call out to the LORD, and He will answer me.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

How the wicked of David by God He would chide– Psalm 3

Psalm three was a flee

Absalom David’s son would conceive

Death for David he tried to see

Nothing but trust would David believe

Rising against the king to steal

The crown for a son he couldn’t conceal

Foes a plenty agree not of his God’s appeal

Salvation was the Truth the LORD was his shield

Glory and honor keeping his head high

Calling out aloud the LORD sustained his cry

Asleep when I lie down on my knees to abide

Waking up by God His protection David would confide

Even though people by the thousands on all sides

The LORD did arise to save David’s hide

Foes cheekbone was struck their teeth would collide

How the wicked of David by God He would chide

LORD is Salvation His Blessing upon David would rise
