How do you bless the LORD?

It is we who bless the LORD, both now and forever. Hallelujah! Psalm 115:18

Hosea 8:4-7, 11-13, Psalm 115 & Matthew 9:32-38

We must bless the LORD with our lives to expect the Grace the LORD bestows on each of us. I remember a story of a woman calling a Catholic Church who is distraught experiencing all sorts of troubles in life. She is calling to request help in some sort of way, i.e. food, clothing and shelter. She explains her mom and dad help build this church or that ministry and has always given abundantly to the Church.

When asked if she attended church herself, her answer was “sometimes.” When asked if she was taking time to pray the obvious prayers her parents taught her she replied, “I don’t have time.” God has all the answers yet we are overwhelmed with selfish desires to accomplish His directed Decrees of Truth. I find it odd that people feel the deserve help from the church they don’t place any effort in to build up and pray for.

God’s abundance of Grace won’t be felt from lackadaisical effort of living for the Body of Christ. Your parents giving to the Church was accomplished by faith, hope and love. If we can’t find the time to live in God’s faith, hope and love, how can you expect to feel the Grace God has written into your Divine Life of Truth? We reap what we sow comes to mind. It is we who should bless the LORD now and forever. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we give our all to You in practice, prayer and preaching. We pray for Julian’s complete healing. We pray for knowledge LORD to live in Your Truth always. We pray for all the Prayer Warriors in the world. Thank You all. We pray the strength to overcome the fatigue in our bodies. We pray for the NC Emmaus Team and their travel needs. We pray for the Ebert Family’s new baby and the poem I wrote below for them yesterday in response to her prayers for Julian. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28

Spirit led God inspired Christ fed

Where Prayers Warriors truly care- Ode to Julian’s Prayer Warriors

Tears of healing

Tears of joy

Tears of Jesus For our boy

I appreciate the prayers

And the words

They encourage my heart

As if birds

God’s Will has witness

To eternally start

The heartbeat of Truth

Deep in my heart

People far and wide have shared

Prayers of healing God can’t deny

The Cross gives us strength

A leaning post to cry

Knocked out like boxer

Looking to compete

I am my strongest in Christ

When I am weak

I can’t stop this

As the tears find their way to the ground

Confusion seems abundant

Not in my heart where He is found

I’ll probably share this soon

In my fatigue rhyming finds my need

As I stand reciting to Julian

God’s Holy Creed

I’ve been by his bedside

All night long

We have to be present

To keep Julian strong

I soothe and comfort his body

Every day as when I pray

Calling out to the Spirit

In God’s Will of dismay

Please pray for peace and strength

To stay totally engaged

By God’s Only Son

Do we find Redemption we say

God’s Healing comes

From people of faith to obtain

The complete healing

Of mind, body and soul to sustain

For it is not my will

The Will of Him I share

It’s God’s love through Community

Where Prayers Warriors truly care
