So they said to (Jesus), “What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you? What can you do? Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” So they said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. But I told you that although you have seen [me], you do not believe. John 6:30-36
Offer praise as your sacrifice to God; fulfill your vows to the Most High. Then call on Me on the day of distress; I will rescue you, and you shall honor Me.” But to the wicked God says: “Why do you recite My Commandments and profess My Covenant with your mouth? You hate discipline; you cast My Words behind you! Psalm 50:14-17
Wash yourselves clean! Put away your misdeeds from before my eyes; cease doing evil; learn to do good. Make justice your aim: redress the wronged, hear the orphan’s plea, defend the widow. Isaiah 1:16-17
John 6:30-36, Psalm 50:14-17 & Isaiah 1:16-17
Many the world over have a hard time believing in the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist shared so many years ago before we beat him and whipped him nailing him to a tree that many might feel it’s a farce but I know in my heart Jesus gave himself to us to find strength by Salvation nourished in His Own Body and Blood living grateful finding hunger no more as the unlearned starves themselves of a mystery they feel mundane. Even when people see the miracles Christ they will deny his presence no matter the proof no matter the revelation most will stick him on a plate once a month instead of living heavens bread true only the father gave us in a concession of Christ Jesus.
When I look back over all of the different settings that I have created, I find a desire to live a sacrifice of praise to God constantly calling on him as prayer to begin my daily practice of sharing the word of God proclaiming the vows Hunger free satisfied in thirst unless we sway from discipline declaring our duty to life eternal. Here, we must all recognize that we deny our God, His Son, and His Spirit so Holy by forgetting to live a life good hearing the plea of an orphan as much as helping the widow overcome her loss to providing a conversation or even a snack speaking of his presece true. Amen. Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. Lord help us to live forgiven. Guide is to know goodwill. Enlighten us to share Your Salvation. Prayers of protection for my son JSRW. IN Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
