Himself Cross carrying Jesus

17 So they took Jesus, and carrying the cross himself he went out to what is called the Place of the Skull, in Hebrew, Golgotha. 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, with Jesus in the middle. 19 Pilate also had an inscription written and put on the cross. It read, “Jesus the Nazorean, the King of the Jews.” 20 Now many of the Jews read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. 21 So the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that he said, ‘I am the King of the Jews.’” 22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” John 19:17-22

14 From (The LORDS) dwelling place he surveys all who dwell on earth. 15 The One who fashioned together their hearts is the One who knows all their works. Psalm 33:14-15

Maybe you can identify with Jesus when we carry our own cross thinking many times it is so heavy that we want to just drop it and leave it behind no matter the location no matter the crime. You don’t find that in Jesus you find Him working as hard as He can to lift the burden of sins off humanity no matter the situation no matter your saturation no matter your infatuation God gave you His Son allowing each and every one of us to know what it means to live Redeemed.

We many times seem to recall what we write across our hearts wanting to live as ourselves not able to control our situations by learning to come to an understanding of God’s Holy Will. Just as Pilate wrote what he knew was true across the top of His Cross, “The King of the Jews” denying what the chief priests wanted in keeping what he had written as an understanding of this simple truth that we must learn not to erase from our soul but to pursue the life of love, faith and hope of what Charity will bring to others around you allowing many to know for the very first time God’s mercy knows every items in your heart finding He will always know all of your works as well. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. IN Jesus Name. Amen.

Himself Cross carrying Jesus

Himself Cross carrying Jesus would face
Taking him to skulls place
Golgotha in Hebrew death without embrace
Where Jews thought Jesus would be erased

Middle Cross Jesus they Crucified Grace
Side-by-side two men crucified in disgrace
Written inscription had Pilate Jews King he’d deface
Greek Latin Hebrew written Pilate would not erase

Written is what is written answered Pilate’s taste
Chief priests denied He would not replace
City near the Crucified reading His case
Inscription read Jews many found it’s distaste
