Hemorrhage afflicted woman
Gospel of Mark Ch 5 v- 25 thru 32
25 There was a woman afflicted with hemorrhages for twelve years. 26 She had suffered greatly at the hands of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet she was not helped but only grew worse. 27 She had heard about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak. 28 She said, “If I but touch his clothes, I shall be cured.” 29 Immediately her flow of blood dried up. She felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction. 30 Jesus, aware at once that power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who has touched my clothes?” 31 But his disciples said to him, “You see how the crowd is pressing upon you, and yet you ask, ‘Who touched me?’” 32 And he looked around to see who had done it.
It boggles my mind that humanity as a whole doesn’t run to Jesus for every kind of healing. They seem to think Jesus is just a fallacy from fables told long ago instead of seeing the Messiah as the One and Only True God who came to the world as flesh and bones dying on a Cross after being humiliated by tearing His flesh to pieces while His mother watched and His friends sat terrified thinking they would be the next to be killed. Then Jesus died. The Cross is our focal point of Salvation because by the Cross we were Redeemed. Then Jesus rose from the dead. Eye witnessed. His healings then took on new meaning for by the Holy Spirit we are connected to Him in everything we do if we just give our all to knowing Him in our practice, prayer and proclamation of His Word and seek the lost, lonely and languished we too will find the power of Christ to share His Life Eternal knowing healing miracles as the reason we live and breathe. “If I can just touch His garment then I too will be healed.” He is in you to heal the same. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos the men in blue especially a prayer for Howard Richmond and Michael Olivetti. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Hemorrhage afflicted woman
Afflicted for twelve years
Doctors many made her suffer
Money gone worse grew her fears
Jesus heard she can heal anyone
Behind Him she walked in the crowd
Cloak His she touched if the Healing One
Thinking cured be shall I Him touch not too loud
Drying up flow immediately
Affliction hers healed body felt whole
Power left Him aware Jesus asking expediently
Clothes Mine touched who My soul
Saying disciples crowd You see has grown
They all press upon You revealed
Asking yet Me touched by who known
Looking for the intended just who You healed
