Heart mind arrogant dispersed
THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 1 51 THRU 56
51 He has shown might with his arm,
dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
52 He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones
but lifted up the lowly.
53 The hungry he has filled with good things;
the rich he has sent away empty.
54 He has helped Israel his servant,
remembering his mercy,
55 according to his promise to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”
56 Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home.
We conclude Mary’s Canticle today describing how God deals with those who are disrespectful and find no reason to give thanks for his amazing promise of salvation. You will ask and not receive while grace in others will supersede providing love, faith and hope to give a heart of cherished memories. God can use you as he used Mary that faithful morning when she said yes to the beauty of living for God First and the promise he made to the fathers of the world. Here, the world causes confusion for most humans unable to distinguish the joy of right or wrong because the planet is pulling them to the flashing flair of everything easy.
It was easy for my father to deny yet comply in his own way the merciful reasons why we get out and serve those less fortunate than us. Today I celebrate his 81st birthday with him dead only a short five months still dealing with issues of family that only I can let go of. The world creates laziness by offering too much too soon expecting as my father to be entertained within his four walls of a television’s nothingness. Body effected by years of nourished abuse. Losing life over laziness that is what the world will prepare. Overcome in giving time with others where nursing homes are aching for visitors of life to bare no matter the stages we all need someone to talk to or hug now and again as care.
For some reason the world seems to discard yet make a campaign out of helping someone or a community of lost veterans and Americans who cares only for the present. My dad did the same thing a veteran too yet never homeless an alcoholic whose drinking separated him from things good including his daughter and his two sons but most importantly his own first love our mother.
God asked of Mary what he asked of you to seek out the lost and the lonely to know those of arrogant hearts and minds can encounter Christ and your reaction to anything another may do that seems rude wanting to prove they are stronger or louder or able to outdo your face. Don’t worry about those who seem to yell at you if you want to help them as I have experienced many a loud soul from those less fortunate than me but I always keep my faith in Christ knowing that he will forgive my sins and use my ability to know things good feeding others who are hungry, cold or dirty with the good news by ways of being nursed, clothed and cleaned resting on a past while you help them to see Jesus! Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
I am a poet obedient to Christ,
