Wig’s Word of God Today 11-24-2011

I decree that throughout my royal domain the God of Daniel is to be reverenced and feared: For He is the Living God, enduring forever, Whose kingdom shall not be destroyed, Whose dominion shall be without end. Daniel 6:27

Daniel 6:12-28 & Luke 21:20-28

I see it as no coincidence I am studying Daniel on Thanksgiving Day 2011. Our One and Only God of heaven and earth has a way of talking to humanity through Scripture in our current times as reflected in Daniel chapter six when Daniel faces a tough decision. A similar decision we as humanity have to make in today. Just like Daniel, we have to stand up and fear nothing to love our God above all powers, people or government.

The prohibition issued by King Darius during the life of Daniel prohibiting anyone from making petitions, prayer and devotion to no one but the king or would be casted into the lions den was not enough to keep Daniel from praying to the God Without End. As so the religious freedom the Pilgrims celebrated almost 400 years ago as our first Thanksgiving was the spark that led to the freedom you and I enjoy today. The freedom to worship the One and Only True God. Our little Pilgrims wouldn’t agree to worship God the way the King of England said and our lives now enjoy freedoms beyond the boundaries of living in a land wrecked with religious restrictions.

So today my friends, I pray we reach out together and take action in our times as Daniel and the Pilgrims did so many years ago. They each loved their God beyond constraint trusting and building lives of faith, charity and love. Daniel trusted God so much he walked out of a lions den unscathed. The Pilgrims trusted God so much they allowed a complete Indian stranger to teach them to survive allowing God to direct them to our present day discourse of religious persecution. America stood as a Fertile Land of God and our Founding Fathers built a Constitution to allow anyone the opportunity to worship any God without fear of persecution or death if living in the Land of the Free.

Will the world’s religions ever truly come together without insults, physical harm or death worries to be a world of love in freedoms beyond the boundaries of living? In America we value this belief and uphold it purposes seeking to understand how we can live up to such world desire of Truth. I am eager to say we are to practice, pray and preach to share the love of God in all ways imaginable. We should be proactive in our efforts to love anyone, anytime and anywhere mentality to live in forgiveness, tolerance and devotion to progressing humanity with God’s Divine Plan. May all Thanksgivings remind us to forgive beyond measure, tolerate diversity and devote our energies to God’s forgiving love. Happy Thanksgiving to each and everyone.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today we may understand Your Will to establish binding Trust in Your Word. We pray everyone is thankful for the blessings You LORD bestow. May we learn to accept Your Will in any circumstance and celebrate the outcome with peace and tranquility. We pray for the USA today as we celebrate our religious freedoms on Thanksgiving Day 2011. We pray for the children of the world and their parents and teachers. We pray for our Nation and the success of Prayer Point to stop and pray for the USA. We pray for LIFE FM to be God’s voice in South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to guide our peacefulness to accept the things we cannot change, bravery in God to change the things we can, and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know the difference. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Trust is our Guide to be the Land of the Free- Daniel 6

Happy Thanksgiving

Daniel prayed in open each day

To the God we know is Truth to stay

Unafraid of the Lion’s mouth

King Darius decreed he’d never come out

Daniel knew he couldn’t worship two

Only One God in the eyes of the Eternal You

For He made heaven and earth

The king decreed showing Daniel’s worth

The Pilgrims loved God the same way

Following Daniel in the Good Book to stay

Serving Him with all of their might

Coming to a land unknown to only God’s plight

Trust became their center of theme

God would guide them to Eternal Pristine

As today we celebrate the moment of need

Trust is our Guide to be the Land of the Free
