Mountains fall and crumble, rocks move from their place, And water wears away stone, and floods wash away the soil of the land—so You destroy the hope of mortals! You prevail once for all against them and they pass on; You dismiss them with changed appearance. Job 14:18-20

May God have pity on us and bless us; may He let His face shine upon us. Psalm 67:2

Then, completing their fasting and prayer, they laid hands on them and sent them off. Acts 13:3

And if anyone hears My words and does not observe them, I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to Save the world. Whoever rejects Me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day, because I did not speak on My own, but the Father who sent Me Commanded Me what to say and speak. John 12:47-49

Job 14:18-22, Psalm Acts 12:24–13:5 & John 12:44-50

We complete Chapter Fourteen listening to Job in versus twenty-one and twenty-two ask God what’s the point when life’s end comes in the not knowing of reality now called dementia or given the title of Alzheimer’s where we wallow in our own pain and mourning of life’s completion. “If their children are honored, they are not aware of it; or if disgraced, they do not know about them. Only for themselves, their pain; only for themselves, their mourning.” Reject not the pains of life and lived Saved in Jesus.

Growing old can be a beauty expressed in love where faith brings forth the joy of hope unless you seek the charity of self knowing not the passion of Works accomplished in Charity’s Name. Job had his feelings hurt thinking he was to live a long and happy life without any type of correction or change. God used Job to show us the way of humility after calling out against God in ways of futile challenges knowing God has the last word that can bring us His peace lest we give in to denying Him looking away from sin. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray peace gives us grace in age. Prayers for Kairos Prison #50. Prayers for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz†Peluca.  LORD from Job 14:17 I chant Your Eternal Promise; “My misdeeds would be sealed up in a pouch, and You (GOD) would cover over my guilt.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Job Fourteen Eighteen thru Twenty-Two Growing old seems a disgrace knocked

Crumbling mountains place rocks

Stones worn by water floods desolation

Land washed mortals hope God destroys

Appearance changed dismissed prevailation

Growing old seems a disgrace knocked

Job knew his final destination

Honored children unknown silence blocked

Pain only they feel mourn only they in contemplation
