Wigs Word of God Today 8-30-2013

This is the Will of God, your holiness: that you refrain from immorality, that each of you know how to acquire a wife for himself in holiness and honor, not in lustful passion as do the Gentiles who do not know God; not to take advantage of or exploit a brother in this matter, for the LORD is an avenger in all these things, as we told you before and solemnly affirmed. For God did not call us to impurity but to holiness. First Thessalonians 4:3-7

First Thessalonians 4:1-8, Psalm 97 & Matthew 25:1-13

We believe the Will of God calls us to Holiness. It’s not something we should be ashamed of but relish in every opportunity to share the Gospel that brings us life. The Gospel of Salvation is not ugly and promiscuous; it is filled with faith, hope and love of charity bringing one to their knees in thanksgiving for our LORD’s love for all humanity. He calls us there to know Truth for in Truth we find the reason to be Holy in every thought, action and deed our life should represent as the Will of the Father. I believe in my heart when you act on the Will of God, you act in reverence for every person you meet encouraging their conduct by the conduct you live your life for as a Child of God. The LORD is Holy asking each of us to live righteousness for His Sake not our own. “For God did not call us to impurity but to holiness.” Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to live Holy as Your Will LORD. Novena prayers day four for my mom. Novena prayers day seven for Laura’s mother Ada in Israel. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 68:6-7, I chant- “Father of the fatherless, defender of widows, God in His holy abode, God gives a home to the forsaken, who leads prisoners out to prosperity, while rebels live in the desert.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Paul exhorted the Thessalonians
In Christ you should be
All you received from us
Conduct for God that will please

More even in the eyes of Truth
Instruction we gave in Christ as proof
The Will of God lives in peace
Refraining from immorality’s release

Marry a wife of honor who is holy
Not passion lustful in sin
As the Gentiles who exploit
The Avenger is the LORD we begin

Affirmed in our love of each of you
Calling us to pure things our due
Not disregarding a single human being
God’s Will Spirit Holy given to you
