Wigs Word of God Today 9-9-2013

Their hearts may be encouraged as they are brought together in love, to have all the richness of fully assured understanding, for the knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3

Colossians 1:24–2:3, Psalm 62 & Luke 6:6-11

Learning wisdom comes from living life enveloped in day-to-day tasks of survival allowed only by the surrender to existing we must take to survive. Obviously we must eat and drink to live but we must take on a different aspect to learn wisdom from each other that God has given humanity to communicate with Him. I am reminded of the Moses who came off a mountain after seeing God looking as if Wisdom had colored him grey and silver shinning like the stars twinkling in the night. You can feel this kind of wisdom that takes over your body in thoughts, actions and deeds for His Truth has repaired your soul beckoning you to share the Salvation of Christ “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” We may not ever fully understand the mystery of God as Christ offers us the wisdom hidden in Him “brought together in love.” Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray we embrace Your Mystery as the wisdom granted by You. Novena prayers day six for Nadege Robergeau in Haiti. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 73:28-27, I chant- “Though my flesh and my heart fail, God is the Rock of my heart, my portion forever. But those who are far from You perish; You destroy those unfaithful to You.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Afflictions he’d hoist

Minister of love’s blame
Stewardship of Christ’s fame
God’s Word never complains
Generations hidden mystery name

Ones so holy now manifest
Glory in hope that never rests
Proclaiming He Who underwent the test
Wisdom we teach is perfection not jest

Struggle and labor Paul did well
He brought Christ’s Salvation to all he could tell
The Power of Christ allowed by his smell
