Gifts spiritual eagerly strive love pursue
1 Corinthians Chapter 14 1 thru 5
1 Pursue love, but strive eagerly for the spiritual gifts, above all that you may prophesy. 2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to human beings but to God, for no one listens; he utters mysteries in spirit. 3 On the other hand, one who prophesies does speak to human beings, for their building up,* encouragement, and solace. 4 Whoever speaks in a tongue builds himself up, but whoever prophesies builds up the church. 5 Now I should like all of you to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. One who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be built up.
We continue to learn that there is nothing greater than love for love will overcome all obstacles no matter where you must wade in the depth of what appears to be suicidal charity until we realize how our love is a gift spiritual allowing us to prophesy speaking in tongues where the Spirit’s mysteries are uttered. How does God know that I talk to him continually speaking in what many may call gibberish?
Our faith and hope in His love is understood these sounds coming from my mouth and I believe they are heard and understood by God encouraging me by grace that I continue to relish in situations that seem like death could be imminent to a soul soon shedding past sin in these waters of wisdom rescued by love. Be not afraid of speaking in tongues for you’ll find the ability to prophesy as you continue to practice, pray and proclaim the beauty of Love, hope and faith of his charitable salvation. The Name is Jesus! Every head bows at the Name of Jesus as every knee will bend to honor his grace as the mission to share in life. Amen.
