Former enemies wishing for fame

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 23 12 THRU 17

Click LOGO for full text of Spirit led podcast reflecting our life in Christ poetically translated from Scripture one line at a time.

12 Herod and Pilate became friends that very day, even though they had been enemies formerly. 13 Pilate then summoned the chief priests, the rulers, and the people 14 and said to them, “You brought this man to me and accused him of inciting the people to revolt. I have conducted my investigation in your presence and have not found this man guilty of the charges you have brought against him, 15 nor did Herod, for he sent him back to us. So no capital crime has been committed by him. 16 Therefore I shall have him flogged and then release him.” [17]

We’ll have a hard time understanding why someone has to suffer when it is said out loud that they are found not guilty. Pilate Felt ashamed and was unable to stop what was taking place even though he had the power to accomplish freedom for Christ Pilate lived the WILL OF GOD as a puppet. God’s will was taking place around the chief priests and rulers of areas once thought to be the promise land. Instead Zion was ransacked and taken away from the people by the evil that reflects daily incompetence’s of spirituality.

When you begin reading the story that was filled with thousands of eyewitnesses allowing the Messiah to implement his love, faith and hope of living redeemed, you begin to understand from a daily practice of why God allows people to suffer including his only begotten son. This historical day is this cornerstone of forgiveness living salvation you can always believe. Oh, you’re going to get sick or you’re going to hit your shin or bronchitis will take over your throat and lungs but stay happy and understand all that we experience is to be done with thanksgiving sharing living redeemed. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Silence for the prayers of others. In Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
