Every time we look back we take away from the engagement of Truth.

For you were called for freedom, brothers. But do not use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh; rather, serve one another through love. For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:13-14

And to another He said, “Follow Me.” But he replied, “[LORD,] let me go first and bury my father.” But He answered him, “Let the dead bury their dead. But you, go and proclaim the Kingdom of God.” And another said, “I will follow You, LORD, but first let me say farewell to my family at home.” [To him] Jesus said, “No one who sets a hand to the plow and looks to what was left behind is fit for the Kingdom of God.” Luke 9:59-62

First Kings 19:16-21, Psalm 16, Galatians 5:1-18 & Luke 9:51-62

The reaction to freedom brings calm by letting go of strings that attach you to the past of indecision gaining focus from precise incision of God’s Word seeking charity in the joy Salvation rings in your ear. Every time we look back we take away from the engagement of Truth pridefully mesmerized at the “wool we pulled over somebody’s eyes.” We see the hurt in the eyes of children and adults alike by their inescapable trauma of sin’s woeful soul-aching consequence.

We must stop looking back at the times we counted down to sin’s torment to fixating ourselves on the fact we have been clothed in God’s Armor of Love. This Armor allows you to “serve” with “freedom” as your guide. The freedom of loving another no matter the shell sharing Truth in Salvation’s Bell excluding not one single soul willing to crawl into their hole and give them a hand up proclaiming the Word of God upon which you stand. Jesus asks you to let go and surrender to His Truth completely using the past as wisdom to overcome staying focused without pun. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to live in Your Son’s Freedom LORD as we carry forward to follow His Truth. Novena prayers day two for Jouli and her daughters, Jada and Cassidy. Novena prayers day three for our knight’s charity work. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 114:7, I chant- “Tremble, earth, before the LORD.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am yours in Christ,

Flesh against Spirit– Galatians 5:1-18

Christ is freedom
Free to be
Surrendered yoke slavery
Father will see

Your freedom ringing
Bells of love
Serving one another
Neighbors not smug

Yourself given freely
Rings of Trust
Not devouring another
Consumed with lust

Spirit will live
Your heart calls
Flesh desires give
Biting fornicating brawls

Flesh against Spirit
Each oppose game
Spirit truly guided
No law blame

Father in waiting
The Son Redeemed
Holy Spirit creating
Three God’s Seen
