Gospel of Mark Ch 9 v- 33 thru 37
33 They came to Capernaum and, once inside the house, he began to ask them, “What were you arguing about on the way?” 34 But they remained silent. They had been discussing among themselves on the way who was the greatest. 35 Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.” 36 Taking a child he placed it in their midst, and putting his arms around it he said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but the One who sent me.”
Today I think of my grandchildren. Each in their own special way. Every child seems received in this special one-on-one way. The Way Jesus asks us to follow to greet Him each day. Especially we must note that we acknowledge the One who sent Him to say I forgive you your sins cleansing you each day. We must learn to serve as a child in play you know the way they react so innocent the things a child would say. They wave an incorruptibility we each can admire as the way we should learn to pray. Jesus asks us to serve in this way of grace expecting not a penny to be returned for anything we taste say the freedom of us all we can forever embrace. This is the innocence we learn to face the world expressing something many have called amazing grace we seek to mimic and trace even in the storm we lived through each day. Our storm last night was called Ian as we placed all our fears on God’s Salvation Son we awake this morning seeing His reason as a sign of protection taking care of the life we have won Redemption in His Son. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. Day 9 We pray for our niece Brittany who is a mother of four and 33 years old who has brain cancer stage four. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

House inside Capernaum mash
Arguing about what Jesus asked
Silence remained they couldn’t grasp
Twelve He called together to explain their mask
First wish anyone all serving last
Everyone serve make yourself fast
Serving without a mask f0r every task
Childlike quality everyone can grasp
Placing child in His midst
Arms holding He said we shouldn’t resist
Name Mine child received gives you a lift
Me received whoever grace received by the One I was sent
